CHILDREN can explore a fun-filled adventure to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Tatton Park has launched a new interactive story walk packed with games and activities.
A Topsy Turvy garden party promises lots of forest fun throughout the school half-term holiday until Saturday, June 5.
Families can meet a mythical outlaw, the Mad Hatter and discover musical mayhem in ancient Greece.
Head gardener Simon Tetlow said: “We’re delighted to welcome families to this brand new interactive story walk, with games and activities delivered by our brilliant partners, Rusticus.
“Inspired by Tatton Park’s ancient gardens, your adventure takes you to some of our historic beauty spots such as the atmospheric Tower Garden, Pine Forest and fascinating Choragic Monument.”
Children can become the hero of the story in a Rusticus adventure.
Performances take place throughout the day at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm. Each one lasts for approximately 45 minutes. All children must be accompanied.
There is no extra charge for this special event.
Families can just turn up on the day and join in.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy relaxing in the woodland glade after the adventure.
Garden and parkland vehicle entry ticket charges apply.
Family tickets are available from £15.
Online bookings save an extra 10 per cent.
