ONE of the town’s most popular spots for brunch and coffee is set to please its ever-growing fanbase as it extends its opening hours.
From Monday, May 30, BEAR in Barons Quay will return to seven-days-a-week for coffee, brunch and all the good stuff it has been renowned for since first opening its doors in 2020.
There is also the added bonus of the dog-friendly venue opening its doors every Friday and Saturday evening for beers, cocktails, tacos, pizzas and other yummy treats.
Review: Brunch is a BEAR necessity at Northwich's cool coffee shop
Like many in the hospitality industry, the business has had to cope with recovering from the impact of the pandemic, as well as managing staff shortages and supplier issues.
The good news for BEAR customers is, those issues are being put firmly in the past and the summer is looking very bright for one of the town’s coolest spots.
Craig Bunting, co-founder of BEAR, said about the return to normal opening hours: “It’s been a strange time for so many businesses in the hospitality industry as we work hard to recover post-pandemic, alongside battling staff shortages, supplier issues, cost increases and various other behind-the-scenes challenges.
“We are beyond excited to be getting BEAR Northwich back to normal opening hours, bringing coffee, brunch and all the good stuff seven days a week, plus Friday and Saturday evenings for cocktails, tacos, pizzas and loads of other treats.
“There will be some new and some familiar faces on our team, and we’re all super excited to get to spend even more time with our lovely coffee-loving community here in Northwich!”
