A CHESHIRE dad on a mammoth charity bike ride to Spain has shared amazing footage from his incredible journey.
Father-of-two Jonathan Mawby, who owns the Autopoint garage in Knutsford, is cycling 1,600 miles in memory of his mother Lee, who was diagnosed with the incurable blood cancer, myeloma, back in 2018.
The 44-year-old pushed off from Altrincham on Friday, May 13 on a three-week journey to reach the finish line in Aguilas, southern Spain.
Luckily for Jonathan, he isn't doing the challenging ride alone as he has been joined by his best Gareth Tucker, who is riding with him, as well as dad Mike and sister Sally Silver, who are acting as a mini support-vehicle convoy.
Speaking from France, Sally said: "We've just arrived in Chartres and completed seven days so we're just over one-third of the way through now.
"The drone footage video is from yesterday's ride from Miannay to Dangu.
"We're due thunderstorms tomorrow so that might prove challenging!"
