A WOMAN must abstain from alcohol after she drunkenly smashed glasses in a town centre pub.
Jacqueline Denne, of Muirfield Close, also kicked out at a police officer after staff at the Penny Black after she returned some 20 minutes with no recollection of what had happened.
The 34-year-old was said to be mortified by her behaviour when she pleaded guilty to three charges at Chester Magistrates Court on April 12.
Denne was back before the same court on Monday, May 16, where she was sentenced over the incident.
It had already been reported how Denne arrived at the Witton Street pub at around 7.45pm on March 24 and was described as already being drunk.
Due to her intoxicated state, staff refused to serve her, causing her to retaliate by throwing a sign and pushing a glass wrack, smashing five glasses.
When exiting the pub, she slammed the door, causing damage to the door handle.
She returned 20 minutes later only to be told to leave before shouting at police officers and kicking one of them.
Magistrates ordered Denne to be fitted with alcohol monitoring equipment meaning she will have to abstain from consuming any booze for 112 days. That period of abstaining will not end until September 4 this year.
She must also pay compensation of £200 to Wetherspoon for the damage caused and £100 to the police officer she kicked.
Denne must also pay £85 in court costs but there was no surcharge as compensation takes priority.
