A 'CARELESS' HGV driver has been hit with a court fine and nine points on his licence.
Paul Casselden, of Whitlow Lane, Moulton, pleaded guilty at Chester Magistrates Court on May 4 to driving without due care and attention.
The incident took place on January 19 this year while Casselden was travelling along the A500 at Barthomley in a MAN goods vehicle.
Taking into account his guilty plea, magistrates fined the 67-year-old £450 and ordered him to pay costs of £110 and a surcharge of £45 to fund victim services.
His licence was also endorsed with nine penalty points.
