ONE of the top-five rated antique shops across the whole of Cheshire is right here in Northwich.

Farrow House, based in Blakemere Village, Northwich, has been listed as one of the top-five antique shops.

Others on the list include The Antiques Shop and Lowe and Sons in Chester, Boffey’s Emporium at Lady Heyes in Frodsham and Hunt & Gather Antiques and Collectables in Warrington.

It comes as a new study by for-sale.co.uk reveals Cheshire as the second capital for five-star antique shopping experiences in the UK. 

The study analysed five-star-rated antique shopping venues in the UK and calculated the number of shops in each area along with total TripAdvisor ratings to award each region a ‘Capital Score’.

Cheshire came in second place with a ‘Capital Score’ of 13.1 and a combined 160 reviews – including some of those for Northwich shops.

Farrow House sells ‘quality antiques, vintage interiors, decorative art, mid-century furniture and up-cycled homeware’.

It says it also offers ‘custom picture framing, garden antiques and salvage’.
