A MAN has appeared in court charged with suspected drug dealing offences in Northwich.
Mark Keelan, of Romanes Street, had been charged with two counts of possession with the intent to supply both heroin and cocaine.
The 48-year-old made a brief appearence at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday, April 29.
He was arrested by police the day before (April 28) when they exectured a warrant on Manchester Road. Keelan was subsequently charged with on suspicion of supplying the class A drugs to people in the town.
Due to the seriousnes of the charges faced, the matter has been sent up to Chester Crown Court.
Keelan, who was granted conditional bail, is yet to enter a plea and is likely to do so when he appears at the higher court on May 27.
