REVELLERS in Northwich are being invited to once again 'rave on' in a bid to help raise funds for one of the town's much-loved charities.
After a successful debut at the Memorial Court back in March, a summer rave return has now been organised, with all proceeds going towards Tiny Steps.
Once again, a night paying homage to the rave scene of the late 1980s and 1990s will feature one of dance music's pioneers - with DJ and producer A Guy Called Gerald back behind the decks.
Organiser Scott Burstow said party-goers will once again be in for a musical feast.
He said: "We’ve had so many amazing nights since July last year and each one has sold out or got very close.
"This night will be absolutely no different."
The Covid pandemic played havoc with fundraising events organised by the charity, with many nights having to be rescheduled, and this event is no different.
"This night was initially planned last summer but we had to move it," Scott added.
"I'm delighted we could now finally announce it.
"The last night we had in March at Brio was amazing, so hopeful this will be the exact same.
"It will not only give everyone a great night, but help raise the Tiny Steps awareness which is fundamentally what it's all about."
As well as a DJ set from A Guy Called Gerald, who created the rave scene classic 'Voodoo Ray', there will also be appearences from some Tiny Steps regulars.
Happy Mondays legendary dancer Bez and the former Inspiral Carpets keyboardist Clint Boon will once again provide their support to the cause.
Keyboard star Davos, who found fame in 2012 when a video of him playing a medley of dance classics went viral, is also set to re-appear, having made his Tiny Steps debut back in November at a sold-out gig at the town's Plaza.
'Rave On' will take place place on Friday, August 12, with doors open at 7pm.
