A PENSIONER will be sentenced next month after he admitted downloading hundreds of indecent images of children.
Paul Harris, of Beechfield in Moulton, was appearing at Chester Crown Court on Thursday, April 21, where he pleaded guilty to four charges.
Between November 21, 2021 and January 23 this year, the 76-year-old downloaded a total of 539 indecent images of children.
Two of the images were classed as the most serious (category A) while 527 of them were category C.
Harris entered guilty pleas for making the images in each of the three categories and one of possession.
The pensioner was bailed by the court and will return to be sentenced on May 20.
As part of his bail conditions, Harris is not allowed access to any device capable of accessing the internet or storing digital images.
