A MAN from Northwich has been slapped with a restraining order after he admitted harassing a woman.
Peter Barlow, of Manor Street, subjected the woman to harassment over an eight-day period between October 21 and 29 of last year.
The 26-year-old was appearing at Chester Magistrates Court on Wednesday, April 13, where he admitted to that charge and another of criminal damage.
The second offence took place on October 22, 2021, when Barlow caused approximately £1,000 worth of damage to an Audi A3 belonging to another man.
Having already pleaded guilty to both charges at a hearing on March 15, Barlow was returning to court to be sentenced.
Magistrates ordered him to complete 200 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months as well as pay £550 in compensation.
He was also made the subject of a two-year restraining order which bars him from contacting the woman in any way.
