A POPULAR family event, packed full with fun inflatables and other activities, is returning to Northwich in 2022.
Funtopia tours the UK each summer and this year it will be making three stops in the town for families to enjoy a big day out.
Verdin Park will play host to a variety of fun-filled activities, from Sumo Suits to Nerf Wars, on May 14, July 23 and September 3.
The event, specifically designed for the under 10s, will also feature a 'driving school', a crafty corner, role play areas, circus skills, fun workshops and an are for the little ones under five.
Parents are encouraged to get involved too and can have a bounce on the parents and tots castle, race on the bungee run, or get some pay back in Nerf Wars.
Company owner Sarah Green said: "We’ve been touring with Funtopia since 2016 and we have visited Northwich for several years now.
"It’s definitely one of our favourite locations to visit. This year Funtopia is even bigger than ever.
"We’ve added new activities and role play areas – such as our hair dressing salon and kids construction zone, as well as additional inflatables and workshops.
"I want every child to be able to enjoy Funtopia and create those family memories which kids will remember for years to come. There’s something for everyone at Funtopia."
Funtopia will run from 11am until 5pm while in the town with wristbands on sale allowing unlimited play, although some activities will have height or age restrictions.
The event is also now autism friendly and also offers a quiet area, a sensory play area and sensory activities such as giant bubble making.
Alongside the fun zones there will be a food court, independent artisan and trade stalls and kids games.
Wristbands can be purchased on the gate and are free for those under 90cm tall, £10 for those over 90cm and £2.50 for adults.
