IT'S good news for Wincham Primary School thanks to a substantial cash injection.
A Christmas raffle, organised by governors at the Church Street school, raised £446.
The money will be used to help finance the Primary News magazine, which is written by and distributed to teachers, pupils and parents each term.
Collections were also held after the infant and junior Christmas productions, raising £254.15. The money will be used to purchase new resources for the school library.
Headteacher Diane Palin said: "These are wonderful sums of money and we are grateful to everyone who made contributions. Thank you."
