A CHARITY night is being held by Harlequin Players to raise money for the Cuddington and Sandiway village hall committee.
American dream tragedy Of Mice & Men, by John Steinbeck, will be performed.
The show is at the theatre oin Queen Street on Tuesday, February 12, starting at 7.45pm. Proceeds from the event will go towards a village hall for Cuddington and Sandiway.
Casual farm workers George and his giant, simple-minded friend Lennie sustain their empty lives with their shared dream of a little place of their own.
But when a ranch boss' promiscuous wife is found dead in the barn with a broken neck, it's obvious that Lennie, albeit accidentally, killed her.
Realising they can't run away anymore, George is faced with a moral question: how should he deal with Lennie before the ranchers find him and take matters into their own hands.
Tickets, priced £6, are available from village hall committee members Helen Webster on 01606 88893, or Margaret Card on 01606 888931.
