A MAN from Northwich has been banned from the roads after driving while almost double the legal alcohol limit.
Kenneth Gagon, of Cottage Close in Rudheath, was caught drink driving in Little Bollington on February 28.
The 39-year-old blew a reading of 68 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – the legal limit is 35.
Gagon pleaded guilty and appeared at Stockport Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 28, to be sentenced.
He was fined £120, must pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £34.
Gagon was disqualified from driving for 17 months.
