Everyone enjoys eating out now and again as a bit of a treat.
But whether it is a late-night takeaway or a three-course meal, it is always good to check the level of food hygiene at your chosen establishment.
Here we have put together a list of eateries in and around mid-Cheshire which have received a a food hygiene rating of two stars or less.
According to the Food Standards Agency, for two-star establishments, means they 'improvement is necessary'. 'Major improvement is necessary' at one-star eateries.
