A NORTHWICH man is set to appear in Chester Crown Court after being charged with with sexually assaulting a toddler.
Craig Paul Crowther, of Tilstone Close, has been charged with a total of ten offences, three of which allege he sexually touched a girl aged between two and four.
The 31-year-old is said to have carried out the assaults between May 9, 2015 and May 8, 2017.
Crowther is also accused on two counts of taking indecent photographs of a child, with 12 of those images being classed at category B and 21 of them category C.
As well as those charges, Crowther also stands accused of distributing category C images of a child.
There are also three charges relating to downloading indecent images of children - one category A, 18 category B and 37 category C.
He was appearing in Chester Magistrates Court on Monday, March 7, where are also admitted to breaching the terms of his bail conditions.
Crowther admitted the breach, was remanded in custody and will next appear at Chester Crown Court on Friday, March 11.
