THE team behind the hugely popular The Salty Dog have branched out and opened up a brand new sister venue.
Winsford now has a brand new bar to add to its ever-growing list of drinking establishments.
The Delamere Street Dog, located on Over Square, promises to bring the best of craft beer and eventually, live music too.
Chris Mundie, owner the bar, said he was excited to be opening in Winsford and was looking forward to the future.
He said: "It's great to be on Over Square, surrounded by other great bars and businesses.
"I'm really happy to be part of the community here and Andy and the staff have really done a great job with it.
"We are only on phase one of the project at the moment.
"So we're currently operating as a small craft beer bar.
"Phase two will include working being completed on our music room."
The original of the dog's in Northwich has placed itself firmly in the forefront as a place to watch a diverse array of live music, but for now the focus in Winsford will be on the beer.
"We've got beers on from the Tatton and Merlin breweries," Chris added.
"We've also got Budvar and Wild Child and a Caribbean mole cake tropical stout
"Although the gig room won't be open for a while yet, we just wanted to get this part open."
There is plenty for non-drinkers too, with the bar also serving a great array of coffees.
Opening hours are 12pm-midnight.
