A 60-YEAR-OLD woman has been banned from driving after refusing to give a sample of breath.
Chester Magistrates' Court heard Jacqui Kenyon failed to provide a specimen of breath after being suspected of driving over the limit in Middlewich on May 27 last year.
Kenyon, of Rydal Close, Winsford, also failed, without reasonable cause, to surrender at Crewe Magistrates’ Court having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on February 15.
On February 16, she was handed a 16-week curfew and was disqualified from driving for 36 months.
Kenyon, who will be monitored electronically, must remain at her home between 7pm and 7am until June 8.
She was also ordered to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £200 and a surcharge of £95 to fund victim services.
