A MAN who left a woman threatening voicemail messages has been ordered to carry out unpaid work.
Kyle Halford, 25, of Church Road in Northwich, appeared in Chester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, February 17.
The court heard how between November 15 and 18, Halford caused a woman to ‘fear that violence would be used against her’ by leaving voicemail messages.
During the same time period, he made threats to smash the windows at the woman’s home in Winsford.
Magistrates sentenced Halford to 150 of unpaid work, with 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
He must also take part in an alcohol treatment programme.
