CHOCOLATE meditation is just one of several interesting activities on offer when a Northwich yoga studio hosts a wellness weekend.
Hotpod Yoga Northwich has become a hit since opening in the town in 2018.
And next month, the studio in High Street is running a Yoga and Wellness Weekend full of sessions for visitors to relax and refresh their minds and bodies.
Over the weekend of March 5 and March 6, there will be a variety of sessions to try including kids' yofa, hot yoga, beginners yoga, emotional movement yoga, facial yoga, sound and gong baths and more.
The studio will also be offering a chocolate meditation class – a relaxing and sweet-tasting mindfulness session which involves using all of the senses to take in the look, feel, sound, smell and taste of chocolate.
Minna Scaife, the founder of Hotpod Yoga Northwich, said: "We’ve had such an amazing welcome to the town by our community since we opened, and we are excited to be hosting this amazing event in our studio.
"It’s a real celebration of all the things that make you feel good, and there is so much variety that everyone will be able to find an experience that they will enjoy – be it just one session or making a day out of it with friends."
The sessions will be £5 each per person, with £1 from each ticket sold being donated to The Joshua Tree charity, which is dedicated to working closely with families affected by childhood cancers.
Minna added: "Raising funds for The Joshua Tree as well makes the event even more special for us.
"If any other local like-minded business wants to be part of this event then get in touch – I really want this event to involve the whole community."

All sessions can be booked by purchasing a Yoga and Wellness Weekend pass for £5 here.
