Cheshire West and Chester Council's pop-up Covid testing units will be offering free lateral flow tests in Northwich from tomorrow.
The mobile unit will be located at Barons Quay (outside H&M) from 9am to 3pm, between Monday, January 24, and Friday, January 28.
Fixed-place testing sites are still accessible at the Dingle Centre in Winsford and Stanney Oaks Leisure Centre in Ellesmere Port, as usual.
Covid rates within the borough remain relatively high and the council encourages those who feel they may be infected but who are not displaying symptoms, to call in so that further transmissions can be prevented.
The government is still recommending everyone tests for Covid twice a week regardless of their vaccination status.
Free home test kits are also available to collect at pop-up testing units.
Anyone with Covid-19 symptoms should book a PCR test at: www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test or by calling 119.
