A MAN has been left seriously injured after a car failed to stop following a two vehicle crash.
A 43-year-old local man was taken to hospital following the collision on the A559 Chester Road in Hartford.
The crash happened at 10.12pm on Boxing Day, Sunday, 26 December, involving a Ford Focus and a Mercedes AMG 35.
The person driving the Mercedes fled the scene leaving the driver of the Ford Focus seriously injured.
Officers are making a number of enquiries to locate the driver.
Police are now appealing for witnesses.
PC Jon Dixon said: āIād urge anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to police to contact us.
"That includes if you have dash cam footage that may have captured anything that may help us with our investigation.ā
