VIOLENCE and sexual offences were the most reported crimes across both Cheshire East and West earlier this year, figures show.

This comes from the analysis of more than three million crime reports made between March and August this year.

In Cheshire East, there were a total of 17,252 reported crimes between March and August 2021.
