A PROFESSIONAL darts player has offered to give up his time to help save lives.
Ian White, nicknamed The Diamond, is staging an exhibition match at the Narrowboat pub in Middlewich to raise funds for The UK Sepsis Trust.
The ticket only charity event is being held at 7.30pm on Thursday, December 2.
Landlady Sue Coulson said: "One of our guys watched Ian play on tour in Gibraltar and he offered to do an exhibition match.
"Everyone is looking forward to coming down and meeting him.
"People will be able to play against him on the night."

Ian, 51, from Runcorn, plays in Professional Darts Corporation events and has reached many quarter-finals in majors.
A raffle will be held to raise additional funds for the charity.
Sepsis is the body's life threatening response to infection and can lead to tissue damage and organ failure and causes around 48,000 deaths a year.
The UK Sepsis Trust aims end preventable deaths from sepsis through earlier diagnosis and treatment.
