PRIMARY school pupils in Comberbach joined in with the nationwide efforts to raise money for Children in Need.
Children at Comberbach Nursery and Primary School took part in a dress down day to raise the cash and the School Council even launched a ‘Pudsey cake competition’.
Lots of children entered the competition, with the School Council getting the lucky job of judging the cakes.
There was also the chance for the whole school to buy a cake at break time for a tasty treat.
The school raised nearly £400 in total – a brilliant effort by the school community.
Children in Need's mission is to help ensure every child in the UK is safe, happy, secure and has the opportunities they need to reach their potential.
It raises money both throughout the year and in its annual November appeal which is put to work where it’s needed most, helping children and young people to thrive.
