HERE are the latest coronavirus case rates and numbers across Cheshire East and West.

A total of 530 new cases were reported in Mid Cheshire between 4pm on November 16 and 4pm on November 17, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

This is made up of 264 new cases in Cheshire West and Chester and 266 cases in Cheshire East.

This brings the total number of cases recorded since the start of the pandemic to 50,858 in Cheshire West and 54,527 in Cheshire East.

The latest update means there have now been 1,285 cases in the last seven days in Cheshire West, giving the borough a seven-day case rate of 373.7 per 100,000 people.

There have been 1,523 cases in Cheshire East over the last week, meaning the borough’s seven-day case rate is now 393.9 per 100,000.
