A CHRISTMAS extravaganza is coming to Hartford early next month.
Residents are invited down to the festive event on December 4, which will include everything needed to get people in the Christmas spirit – including stalls, music, food and drink.
"In previous years, Hartford has had a very popular 'Victorian Christmas', but due to Covid, the usual organisers were unable to organise anything," said Paula Manley, part of the planning team.
"A team of us from the community have come together to put on an ambitious event that will be nearly all outdoors.
"It will span from the Redrow Grange green, include businesses on Chester Road and School Lane, and will also have stalls on the 'Glebe land' behind the church hall."
There will be an estimated 50 stalls from businesses, young entrepreneurs and charities available, along with music, dancers, food and drinks and a lantern parade.
The Hartford Christmas Extravaganza will take place on December 4 from 10am until 4pm.
The Hartford Lantern Parade will take place afterwards at 4pm.
