Police at the scene of the stabbing outside PureGym
A MAN has appeared in court in relation to the stabbing outside PureGym in Northwich.
Samson Price, of Sefton Road, Wigan, appeared via videolink from HMP Altcourse, on Monday, November 15.
The 47-year-old has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Price has not yet entered a plea in relation to either charge and will now be subject to a doctor's medical report to determine if he is fit to stand trial.
Both charges relate to the stabbing of a 20-year-old man from Winsford outside the Leicester Street gym on the evening of Thursday, September 23.
Price will next appear at Chester Crown Court on Friday, December 3.
