AS of this afternoon, Friday, 14 more people across Cheshire East and West have died with ‘Covid-19’ listed on their death certificate.

This includes 10 people in Cheshire East and four people in Cheshire West.

Meanwhile, in Cheshire East, one death was recorded within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test, with none recorded in Chester West.

A total of 426 new cases were reported in Mid Cheshire between 4pm on November 11 and 4pm on November 12, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

This is made up of 200 new cases in Cheshire West and Chester and 226 cases in Cheshire East.

This is compared to 223 cases recorded in Cheshire West and 229 in Cheshire East in the previous 24-hour period.

This brings the total number of cases recorded since the start of the pandemic to 49,781 in Cheshire West and 53,436 in Cheshire East.

The latest update means there have now been 1,200 cases in the last seven days in Cheshire West, giving the borough a seven-day case rate of 349 per 100,000 people.

There have been 1,450 cases in Cheshire East over the last week, meaning the borough’s seven-day case rate is now 375 per 100,000.
