A YOUNG actress has been offered a place at a prestigious drama school in America and is now looking for donations to help her achieve her dream.
Emily Pinches has been pursing acting since she was seven years old, performing in Northwich in venues such as The Harlequin Theatre and Davenham Theatre.
Now 20, Emily has been offered a place on a two-year course at 'The American Academy of Dramatic Arts' – which has a campus in New York and LA – where the likes of Danny Devitio, Anne Hathaway, Paul Rudd, Jessica Chastain, Robert Redford and Dennis Haysbert studied.
Emily said: "This school is my dream school since I visited it back in October 2019 and fell in love with the campus, their vision and work ethic.
"Even though I work incredibly hard to achieve my dreams I never thought I would be given this big of an opportunity so early in my career.
"I'm still shocked now and I'm trying to prepare as much as I can.
"If you, or someone you know, is in the arts industry you will know that an opportunity like this does not come easily and it is not one I can turn down."
Emily, who has worked in Tesco Northwich for three years, is looking for individuals or organisations that may be in a position to donate to help her with the fees, or even sponsor her.
In the run-up to the acting course, Emily will be taking part in a variety of shows to showcase her talents. Visit gofundme.com/f/help-me-study-at-aada-in-new-york-city.
