WITTON Albion bagged their first home win of the season on Saturday afternoon.
Carl Macauley's side defeated Mickleover Sports 1-0 in the Northern Premier League at Wincham Park.
The only goal in a competitive game came from Tom Owens in the 57th minute.
Albion visit Stafford Rangers on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, 1874 Northwich banked a late but deserved point at Northern Premier League West leaders Workington.
Matt Woolley's 76th minute penalty reduced the arrears to 2-1 and the leveller came nine minutes later, with some debate regarding whether it was an own goal or claimed by Jake Parker.
Aaron Smith hit the crossbar from 30 yards out four minutes into added time to save the Cumbrians' blushes after they had taken command in the first half through Steven Rigg (2) and Connor Gaul (20).
The Greens will next host Bootle next Saturday.
Elsewhere, Winsford United are out of the FA Vase.
They lost 3-1 at home to in-form Derbyshire side Gresley Rovers 3-1.
Blues took a 22nd minute lead through Sam Madeley, which they held on to until half time.
But three minutes into the second half Ryan Seal wiped out Winsford's advantage.
And five minutes later Steve Hart handed Rovers a lead they never lost.
Kane Lee completed the scoring in the 72nd minute.
Blues host Barnoldswick Town in the North West Counties League Premier Division next Saturday.
