ALI Smith has reached one individual final in her first Paralympics and she will aim to reach another on Friday.
The 32-year-old former student of The Grange School, Hartford, recorded a personal best 13.19 seconds to finish third in heat two in the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo.
She was eighth fastest of the qualifiers and that was where she placed in Saturday's final with another fast 13.24 time.
Sophie Hahn earned ParalympicsGB women a first athletics gold medal of the competition in winning the race in 12.43.
Smith will tackle the 400m heats on Friday, with the final to take place the next day.
