THE Weaverham community is vowing to remember Covid and record experiences for future generations.

St Mary’s Church has created a 'Covid Corner' featuring a new stained glass window which reminds people to be thankful for the NHS, foodbanks and food deliveries, vaccines, the church and community.

Anyone from the Northwich area is invited to add a Covid reflection in a book located in the corner.

A spokesperson said: "Such reflections can be a personal note about a Covid experience, a poem, a thank you, a photo of a lockdown craft project, a newspaper cutting or even a CD or DVD.

"It can be anything as long as it’s able to be put in the book.

"A5 pro-formers suitable for this purpose are available from the church website: stmarysweaverham.org.

"Also in the corner there is a memorial book to record and write about anyone who passed away during the lockdown period, whether from Covid or not.

"The church leaders are keen for people to know that although the corner is in a church it is open to all – all faiths and those with no faith.

"There is also a book of reflections from the residents of Cumberbach."
