FOLLOWING this summer’s events involving Christian Eriksen and his cardiac arrest during Denmark and Finland’s game, it sparked plenty of discussion on social media over the need for defibrillators - but do you know where your nearest one is?
You would hope to never have to use one, but in the event that you need to we have rounded up the locations of Northwich’s defibrillators closest to their village or area that are registered on the National Defibrillator Database.
A defibrillator gives a high energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest.
Once located, a helper must activate it or you have to ring 999 or 112 to get the activation code for usage.
