WE asked, you answered.
In honour of Afternoon Tea Week last week, we wanted to know which is the best café in Winsford and Middlewich.
So, we put it to you, and you responded in your numbers with your favourites and here is how the results came out.
Drinks and Bites at 35
The Middlewich café was a popular choice among readers.
Angela Breland is obviously a big fan.
“The best cafe in Middlewich. Great food (especially the cakes)and a very friendly team,” she said.
Kevin Whitehead, Hayley McGrory, Fiona Graham, Maureen Mackenzie, Jennie Hambley and Irene McLeman all shouted out the Wheelock Street shop.
Sarah Bear added: “The best food and the best service.”
Angela Allen hailed it as five star worthy and ‘absolutely the best’.
Café Bon Bon Middlewich
A fellow Wheelock Street café, Café Bon Bon, has also garnered much support on social media.
Barbara Bennion said: “Cafe Bon Bon has great food.”
Lynne Hardy, Ann-Marie Tandy, Maggie Garner and Josie Hayden all put the shop forward as their favourite, to which Jose Manuel Dias Martins said he totally agrees.
Market Munchies
If you find yourself at Winsford’s market, they have been lauded with praise too.
Debs Miller said: “It has absolutely beautiful food and it’s great value with friendly service.
Declan Steele added: Hands down.”
And Jue Hodkinson was in agreeance.
Other notable mentions included Sammy’s Shack, Hopley House and Newton Nosh.
