IT’s not every day you can see some 5.5m dinosaurs, is it?
At Winsford Cross Shopping Centre, this weekend they are having a dino-themed event.
On Saturday, August 21, the centre will feature a 5.5m animatronic Triceratops ironically named Tiny, who will walk around the shopping centre, allowing children to get up close to the herbivore.
Tiny is also bringing his baby dino puppet friends to entertain visitors.
On both Saturday, August 21, and Sunday, August 22, children can visit the dino compound at Winsford Cross mall area, where the crew will help them to make dino sand fossils and create their very dino themed pencil case to take home.
Activities will run from 11am - 4pm on both days. Tiny and his friends will walk around the centre, visitors will be able to find them in fountain square as well as in the covered area of the mall.
Jeff Jackson, centre manager at Winsford Cross said: “Our Roarsome Weekend promises to bring lots of fun for children and dino fans of all ages.
“After the last 18 months it’s great to be planning something for local families to enjoy, however we will have safety measures in place so that people can relax and make the most of this epic event while feeling safe.”
The best photograph taken next weekend will win a £100 gift card for a Winsford store of their choice, using the #RoarsomeWinsford on social media.
