WILD Shore Delamere has reopened after blue-green algae was cleared from its lake.
On August 4, the site took the decision to close for seven days as a precaution due to a localised blue-green algae bloom present in sections of the lake.
But after rigourous testing in four key areas of the water on a daily basis, the site is now open for business.
A statement posted on social media reads: "We are delighted to say that the blue-green algae bloom disappeared within 48 hours and the wider quality remained excellent throughout the seven days period, across all four key areas.
"For full transparency we are happy to provide the data to any customer that asks to see it to help give our customers peace of mind, that the water quality was and has remained very good, throughout this period.
"If anyone would like like any more information regarding the data, please do not hesitate to ask.
"Our primary concern is the safety of our customers and staff and we are confident that the measures put in place over the last seven days have absolutely ensured this.
"We will continue to test the water regularly, as we have always done, to monitor any changes.
"Thank you for your patience and understanding over the last seven days, your collective support has meant a huge amount to our team.
"We now have loads of availability re-opened for August so please get in touch if you want to book."
