THERE are proposals to reduce the speed limits to 30 and 40mph along four roads in Little Leigh.
Cheshire West and Chester Council propose to introduce the reduced speed limits on Heath Lane, Ash House Lane, Shutley Lane and Cogshall Lane.
A 30mph speed limit would be introduced on Cogshall Lane, from its junction with Shutley Lane for 'a distance of 307 metres in a north easterly direction'.
Ash House Lane would also be subject to a 30mph speed limit, from its junction with Shutley Lane to 'a point 13 metres west of its junction with Clatterwick Lane'.
Meanwhile, a 40mph speed limit is proposed on Heath Lane, from its junction with A49 Tarporley Road to its junction with Ash House Lane.
This speed limit would also be in place on Shutley Lane, from its junction with A533 Runcorn Road to its junction with Ash House Lane, and along Ash House Lane, from its junction with A533 Runcorn Road to 'a point 13 metres west of its junction with Clatterwick Lane'.
The council's statements of reasons for making the order and a copy of the notice can be examined during usual office hours at Winsford Area Highways Office or the One Stop Shop in Watling Street, Northwich.
All objections or other representations must be made in writing, quoting reference TRO 3182 by August 30.
