WEAVERHAM'S Will Broderick watched his Brazil women's rugby sevens team fall to two heavy defeats in their opening Group B games in the Tokyo Olympics.
His side coped admirably with a yellow card in the first half and trailed 7-0 at the break against Canada in the first outing at Tokyo Stadium.

But their opponents added four more tries in the second period to run away to a 33-0 victory.
Broderick's side lost 40-5 to France in their second game and will conclude their group matches against Fiji tomorrow at 1am (UK time).
