POLICE are warning residents to watch out for bogus tradesmen masquerading as driveway cleaners.
The driver of one of the vans is described as looking like Prince Harry.
In the scam, the fraudsters jet wash part of a driveway without asking for permission from the occupants and then knock on the door to pressure people into paying for a full clean 'at an extortionate price'.
The con men have preyed on several vulnerable people in the Holmes Chapel area.
One white Ford transit van had an Irish number plate whilst another white Toyota van with UK plates had ladders on the roof.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police tweeted: "Their modus operandi appears to be to jet wash part of a driveway without asking the occupants of the house first, then knocking at the house to show the occupant how well it has come up before pressuring them tot have the rest of it cleaned at an extortionate price.
"These individuals appear to have been working in tandem.
