A TOTAL of three coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded in the past week across Cheshire East, and Cheshire West and Chester.
The UK coronavirus dashboard – when updated yesterday, July 21 – showed that a total of 810 people had died in the Cheshire East area throughout the course of the pandemic.
There have been two deaths in the past week.
Meanwhile, the dashboard showed a total of 874 people had died in the Cheshire West area up to July 21 (Wednesday) – up from 872 on Tuesday.
It means there has been one death in the past week.
These deaths were among 18,262 total deaths to have been recorded across the north west.
The figures include anyone who died within 28 days of a positive test result for Covid-19, and whose usual residence was in Cheshire East.
Daily death counts are revised each day, with each case backdated to the actual date of death, so some areas might see their figures revised down.
