A FASCINATING collection of classic police cars, fire engines and ambulances will be on display at a unique event.
The Blue Light Vehicle Preservation Group is coming to Manchester Airport's Runway Visitor Park on Sunday, July 18 from 10am to 4pm.
Around 50 vehicles from the 1930s to the present day will be on show.
Each vehicle is steeped in history, with many serving at the highest level at incidents across the country.

Many of the owners and crew will be dressed in appropriate costume to match the period of the vehicle in active service.
Each vehicle will also have equipment on display from the specific era.
Visitors will be treated to a mass 'call out' with bells and sirens sounding during the afternoon.
Runway Visitor Park is beside the busy runway of Manchester Airport and has a raised viewing area so people can get a good view of planes as they go past.
The park is also home to a variety of retired planes, including the spectacular supersonic airliner, Concord and former RAF military spy plane, Nimrod.
In addition to a large picnic area, there is also a coffee house, play area and aviation shop.
Admission to the event is free but normal Runway Visitor Park parking charges apply.
