A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car.
Firefighters were called to Middlewich Road in Northwich shortly before 4pm yesterday.
The rider of a motorbike, a man in his 50s, and a female casualty were assessed by firefighters and paramedics at the scene.
The male motorcyclist was taken to hospital.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The crew assisted with a male casualty and assessed the female casualty. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance."

The collision happened on the junction of Middlewich Road and Agecroft Road.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance NHS Trust said: “We took one patient to hospital. He was a male in his 50s and was the motorcyclist. A woman was treated at the scene as well.”
Middlewich Road from Shipbrook Road to James Street was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
