LEIGH Hadfield won a silver medal at the Cheshire County Bowmen WA720 shoot in Chester.
And his Winnington Park Bowmen colleague Amanda Rose collected bronze.
Leigh shot an impressive recurve round at 70 metres which concluded in torrential rain, while Amanda shot consistently doing barebow at 50m.
WPB were also represented by Roger Sharpes and Michelle Oakes.
It was an impressive first competition for Roger, who scored close to his personal best in tricky weather conditions.
There is no rest for Leigh as he travels to Surrey this weekend to compete in stage two of the Archery GB national tour.
