POLICE are appealing for information after the driver of a pick-up truck fled the scene of a crash in Northwich that left a man in hospital with serious injuries.
Four vehicles, one of which was a horse box, were involved in the collision last Friday evening (July 2) on the A533 in Davenham in which the silver Ford Ranger failed to stop.
The incident happened at 6.42pm when officers were called to the A533 following reports of a collision involving a silver Ford Ranger, a silver Honda Civic, a white Mazda and a blue Volvo horse box.
The driver of the Honda Civic, a 27-year-old man from Warrington was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police Constable Moghaddam said: "A number of enquiries are ongoing in relation to the incident and we are doing all we can to trace the driver of the Ford Ranger.
"We would urge anyone with information no matter how big or small to contact us - the same goes to those who may have captured dashcam footage of the collision and have not yet passed it over to police.
"If the driver of the vehicle is reading this, I would urge you to contact us so that we can establish the circumstances."
