DRIVERS can expect some disruption on a number of roads in and around Northwich this week due to roadworks.
Here is a list of the works that are expected to cause some delays to journeys this week:
Hough Lane, Anderton
Possibly the biggest works due to take place, with works on the gas mains set to last from July 5 until August 23.
During the seven weeks of work, there will be road diversions in place and temporary lights so drivers are told to expect delays.
Moss Road, Winnington
On Monday, July 5, United Utilities are booked in to carry out water works between 4.30pm and 7pm.
Castle Street
United Utilities will be carried out works between 11am-3pm on July 5 and again on July 8 between 3pm-7pm.
Chester Way
A lane will be closed on July 7 as United Utilities carry out essential works.
Witton Street
Water works will take place on two locations on July 6, from 9.30am until 7pm.
London Road
Delays are likely on July 6 between 4.30pm-7pm and the following day (July 7) between 12.30pm and 7pm as United Utilities carry out more work.
Wright Avenue
The year long works to the carriageway will remain in place until February next year with a diversion route in place using Shurlach Road and Nicolas Avenue.
