CREWS have been tackling a house fire in Barton this afternoon, Monday, which has affected bus services in the area.
At 10.45am, four fire crews attended Grange Avenue, where the ground floor of a property was on fire.
The occupants were all accounted for.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and covering jets to damp down the area.
They used a large fan to disperse the smoke and checked a neighbouring property to ensure the smoke and fire had not spread.
As a result of the incident, the Arriva North West service four from Northwich to Barnton is unable to serve Grange Avenue and Runcorn Road.
