MEN from Northwich and Winsford have been arrested on suspicion of burglary after a stolen car was stopped by police in Bostock.
The two men, aged 30 and 20, have since been released under investigation.
Yesterday, Monday, police were made aware of a suspected stolen silver Ford Fusion car which was travelling along the A534 towards Crewe.
Police began pursuing the car before the vehicle was stopped near London Road, Bostock.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police confirmed: "Four men – a 19-year-old from Crewe, a 17-year-old from Shavington, a 30-year-old from Northwich and a 20-year-old from Winsford were all arrested on suspicion of burglary.
"A 17-year-old man from Alsager was also arrested on suspicion of burglary, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
"All five men have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
"The arrests follow reports of a burglary at an address in Alsager on May 7."
