FIRE crews were called to a fire in the open in Northwich yesterday afternoon, Monday.
Shortly after 12.20pm, firefighters from Northwich attended Middlewich Road following reports of a fire.
On arrival, the crew used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
Earlier in the day, the crew had also attended a fire in a garden in Stanley Grove.
This was caused by a barbecue.
