A WOMAN was arrested after stopping on the M6 to do her makeup.
Officers from the Motorway Police came across a stationery car in lane one on Saturday (May 8) night.
Not only had she stopped to do her makeup, she provided a positive drug wipe for cocaine and was also found to be a provisional licence holder only.
Well we've heard it all tonight, MO26 on the M6 at Middlewich came across a car stationary in lane 1, the driver had stopped to do her make-up, she provided a positive drug wipe for cocaine & also has her vehicle seized for No Insurance and Provisional Licence Holder #Arrested

The incident took place on the M6 by Middlewich.
The woman who was also driving with no insurance, was arrested at the scene and had her vehicle seized.
In a busy night for officers patrolling our region's motorways, another female driver was stopped after police followed for hogging a lane on the M56.
After driving alongside her, the woman was observed holding her mobile phone, making a Facetime call.
Due to the number of points on her license the woman was issued with a summons to court.
